SHOW REPORT
The recently concluded Famdent Show 2010 Mumbai was a stupendous success. Over 6500 visitors visited the trade exhibition.
The event comprised of 3 distinct sections:

• Hands on / Preconference Sessions on Thursday 3rd June 2010. More than 300 delegates participated in various hands on courses
  
  
• Scientific Sessions
  The highlights of this year’s sessions were the innovative and exclusive 13 Live Procedures. A two chair clinic setup was made available (Courtesy: Lifecare Devices) with state of art equipment including ADEC chairs. The following procedures were performed:
  This format of Live Procedures was a huge success. At all times, the lecture hall was filled to capacity. In fact the response was so great that additional plasma screens had to be placed in different locations to accommodate additional delegates.
  Simultaneously other sessions were in progress at the same venue. One of the innovative sessions were the Exclusive Women’s sessions by renowned female speakers. Also, the ICD paper presentations was filled to capacity to present their presentations.
  
  
• The Trade Exhibition
  Despite the fact that there was only a 8-month gap between two Famdent Shows and also the month of June not being exactly a conducive month for a Show, the Trade Show attendance beat all over attendance projections by a HUGE margin! Over 6500 dental professionals visited the Trade Show in 3 days- this is a new record set for attendance for Famdent Show. The previous best was approximately 5700 visitors at Famdent Show 2008 Mumbai.
