Abstract

Anatomic Driven Implantology: No Cantilever, Screw Retained Prosthetics, Immediate Loading Protocol. 2 Piece Cortical System: Taking Surgical Concepts of Single Piece and Prosthetic Concepts of Two Piece Implant System. Implants are placed either immediate or delayed loading protocol when adequate bone is available. It is difficult to place implants in compromised bone conditions especially posterior maxilla without sinus augmentation. Although these procedures are having highly success rates but requires long treatment period. In compromised bone situations, it is difficult to place axial implants without grafting. Even long cantilevers are required to compensate biological complications. Various alternative graftless methods like zygomatic implants and All on 4 showed higher success rate in compromised bone situations. But these procedures are have short arch replacements still giving Cantilevers. To overcome these problems, a newly innovative TTPHIL – ALL TILT ™ concept is introduced. This presentation highlights TTPHIL – ALL TILT™ concept and also the principles. TTPHIL – ALL TILT™ innovative technique which overcomes the limitations of axial implants, also the disadvantages of All-on-4concept and All-on-6 concept. Tall (16mm-25mm) and Tilted(TT) Implants with angulations of (9-60 degrees)Tall implants provide more surface area and BIC for osseointergation and are also engaged to the Cortical Bone. The implants are placed inPinhole (PH) manner i.e flapless utilizing STL Technology. All implants are Immediately Loaded (IL) within 48 hours with CAD/CAM technology with One Time Abutment Mucointegration Concept.

PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) was first developed in France for use in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Choukroun’s Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a leukocyte and platelet rich fibrin biomaterial with a specific composition and three-dimensional architecture. PRF is classified as a second generation platelet concentrate as it is prepared as a natural concentrate without the addition of any anticoagulants.

PRF is often called Choukroun’s PRF as there are other platelet concentrates with similar names such as Vivostat PRF (considered a pure platelet rich plasma) or Fibrinet PRF (without leukocytes). PRF has a dense fibrin network with leukocytes, cytokines, structural glycoproteins and also growth factors such as transforming growth factorH1, platelet-derived growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor and glycoproteins such as thrombospondin I during > / =7 Days. Leukocytes that are concentrated in PRF scaffold play an important role in growth factor release, immune regulation, anti— infectious activities and matrix remodeling during wound healing. The slow polymerization mode of PRF and cicatricial capacity creates a physiologic architecture favorable for wound.

Endodontic treatment has benefited from the development of new techniques and equipment, which have improved outcome and predictability. Ultrasonic instruments have found indispensable applications in a number of dental procedures and being very prominently used in endodontics.

Ultrasonics in endodontics has enhanced the quality of treatment and represents an important adjunct in the treatment of difficult cases. More commonly used for Ultrasonic activated irrigation techniques, gaining access to canal openings, cleaning and shaping, obturation of root canals, removal of intracanal materials and obstructions and endodontic surgery.

In case of retreatment in endodontics, removal of fractured instrument from canal is the challenging one. Although a number of different devices and techniques have been developed, none are successful in all cases. But in combination with an ultrasonic device for loosening and retrieval of fractured instrument it works perfectly. Also for removal of intraradicular post like metal or fibre ultrasonic instrumentation plays important role. It is suggested that ultrasonics can ease and to some extent, simplify retreatment of endodontic failures.

Use of ultrasonic tips can be enhanced by its design and angulation. Design and angulation of the tips plays significant role in reaching the operational site. This presentation will also highlight on our modified designs and angulated ultrasonic tips which can be used in clinical endodontics and emphasizes the broad applications in a modern-day endodontic practice to achieve more predictable results.

Our conventional education of Dental Implants taught us many things. We were taught to place our implants straight. We were taught to use bone grafts wherever there is no bone. We were taught to place as many implants as possible and to wait for 3 to 6 months for prosthetic stage. Then a concept called All on 4 surfaced. Is it enough to take on the traditional implant knowledge, head-on, with its minimal number of implants approach, tilted implants, graft less solutions and immediate loading concept.

Despite technological advancements in this field, these adverse events are inevitable, which may be attributed to the stress levels of the operator. These unpleasant events may be a minor injury or a life threatening one or even death on the dental chair, therefore dental students and practising clinicians should be well trained to deal with these unwanted events appropriately. This lecture mainly aims at highlighting the most common adverse events that can occur in routine dental practice and also focuses on the countermeasures that can be undertaken.

One of the most frustrating and exasperating instances for a clinician is to find insufficient bone at the implant site. More often than not, the implantologists finds himself in a scenario that requires some form of augmentation prior to implant placement. Autogenous bone has been the gold standard when it comes to predictable, stable and long term bone regeneration. This lecture discusses the fundamentals of autogenous bone regeneration using the Khoury technique. It will emphasize the relevance of the technique and the clinical and surgical tips required to perform the procedure. It will discuss the possible complications involved in the procedure and the ways to avoid them.

If we follow basic principles of RCT, healing follows without fail. I have been advocating single visit RCT since a decade. We will present even simpler version of the procedure with new rotary and obturation system with modern treatment protocol. One can gain immediate knowledge and expertise about single visit RCT to apply in his or her own practice after attending this live session.

The ultimate goal of any direct/indirect dental restoration is to be fabricated, inserted, and adjusted in harmonious contacts with the pre-existing occlusion. Dental practitioners have long relied on articulating papers to achieve this. Articulating papers help mark contact points which can be evaluated and adjusted by interpreting them based on their size and color intensity.

Inability to adjust a restoration correctly can have profound short and long term implications on the restoration as well as the health of the stomatognathic system at large. Even the smallest high

Fixed prosthesis/restorations vary from removal prosthesis to implant prosthesis and each needs occlusion to be coded with specific thickness of articulating papers to ensure long term survival of the prosthesis and overall stability of the system. Papers are also available in varying colors like blue, red, black, green etc.; with each color having a specific role to play. This lecture shall help an attending clinician understand and choose an articulating paper wisely.

Recently, digitalization has found roads into occlusion- especially for analysis of bite force and timing. Sophisticated gadgets and their role in dental occlusal analysis shall also be addressed in this session.
