The FAMDENT Excellence in Dentistry Awards, widely recognized as the "Indian Dental Oscars," are among the most prestigious honors in the Indian dental profession. Launched in 2013, these annual awards celebrate outstanding clinical, academic, innovative, and ethical achievements by individuals and institutions across the dental fraternity in India. The awards recognize diverse domains including Clinic of the Year, Budding Dentist of the Year (for practitioners under 30), Excellent Aligner Dentist of the Year, Social Media Dentist, and the Rao Memorial Award for exemplary public/community dentistry in rural areas. Organized under the well-known FAMDENT Brand, the ceremony is closely linked with the FAMDENT Shows—India's leading dental trade exhibitions. The most recent iteration, the 12th Annual FAMDENT Awards 2026, took place on March 21, 2026, at the Grande Hall, NESCO Center in Mumbai.
